To run a medical facility which avails treatment to in and out patients, surgical, dental operations and preventive measures against diseases.
To run a high quality diagnostic facility with modern x-rays, computed tomography scan, magnetic resonance imaging scan, utra sound scan.
To run a well facilitated laboratory with microscopic and hematology departments.
To manufacture and sell drugs, medical equipments, laboratory equipments, machinery and reagents.

Nabaw is a private for-profit health organization that provides quality specialized medical services and pharmaceutical products at affordable prices alongside health promotion services to prevent the transmission of communicable diseases in the community.

Nabaw Pharmacy traces its roots to 2005 when the founders (Dr. Nagimesi Annan and Namata Rukia Badiru) realized that there was no pharmacy in Kayunga. Patients seeking for drugs would access them either in Mukono or Jinja despite the bad roads of Kayunga – Mukono - Njeru road of a distance of 50 km either side from Kayunga.

Nabaw pharmacy is a duly incorporated legal entity under the name of Ms. Nabaw Pharmacy Ltd which was registered on the 2nd day of December 2005.

We are also licensed by the National Drug Authority which issued us with operational and suitability licences to operate as Importers and Wholesalers of medicine in Uganda.

The company is tax compliant and it has a Tax Identification Number commonly called TIN No. 1006694824.

Being a limited company, the shareholders of this company include; Dr. Nagimesis Anani, Ms. Namata Rukia Badru, Mr. Nambagala Absa and Ms. Wakabani Saina.

The company works under the theme “A one-stop pharmaceutical centre for All”.

Nabaw Pharmacy is located in Kayunga town council which is 67km away from Kampala and 45km to Jinja road. Whereas Kamuli is 35km from Kayunga.

It is easily accessible from most of the surrounding districts of Luwero, Kamuli, Mukono, Buikwe, Amolata, Nakasogola, Buyende to mention but a few.

Our catchments area has grown since inception from serving the nearby districts of Kayunga as mentioned before, to a wider range of customers from some of the known districts or regions of Uganda like Kampala Waksio, Luwero, Mityana, Mubende, and Masaka in the Central Region, Mbale in Bugishu Sub-region, Moroto in the North East, Lira in Lango Sub Region, Kyenjojo in the Rwenzori Sub Region, Kisoro in Kigezi Region, Kakumiro and Masindi in Bunyoro Sub Region to mention but a few.

This is so because, we have established a relationship with pharmacies across all those regions, backed by an outstanding team of marketers to reach out to them.

To back up our expertise, we have been in a cordial relationship with Uganda Health Marketing Group (UHMG) as distributors of their products as evidenced by the attached contract for distribution of UHMG Health products from the 1st July 2016 – 30th September 2020. Signed and witnessed by Directors of Nabaw and representatives of UHMG. Currently, Nabaw is the official distributor of Movate® (Clobetasol) and Lemonvate® (Clobetasol), orangevate® (Clobetasol) from Esapharma Millian Italy.

Nabaw is also one of the Ministry of Health’s authorized FIRST LINE BUYER of subsidized Anti-malarials in Uganda. In 2019, Nabaw expanded its services to include a medical centre that is located in Mukono Municipality.

The company owns 2 delivery vans, seven (7) boda bodas and has continuously signed travel contracts with Ssezibwa Cooperative transporters and Boat transporters to deliver medicines to some of the hard-to-reach areas.

The company has a warehouse and stores in Kayunga (64km) and Mukono – Nasuuti 18km from Kampala which are well furnished and ventiled as deemed necessary for proper storage of medicines.

We have a strong management team, headed by the C.E.O Dr. Nagimesi Anani MPs and a senior Clinician who doubles as our pharmacist director.

He is deputized by Ms. Namala Rukia Badru as the operational manager and experienced Business Consultant.

The company’s finances are managed by a strong accounting team audited by Wadde and Partners Certified Public Accountant AF 0125.

The management team also includes the auxiliary staff like the nurses, cashiers, marketing team, the company drivers, and cleaners who are always ready to serve our customers all throughout the designated working hours of the company. We are also secured by surveillance cameras and Askaries and our IT service provider is readily available to help us have proper information storage as regards our daily sales records for future reference. For business operating purposes we use the Quik Book business accounting software that was served to us by Info Tech Co. Ltd.

The company’s legal issues are handled by Mungoma – Mabonga and Company Advocates.

We are therefore a well-established company having our Bankers as Equity Bank Uganda which we have dealt with since the establishment of this company in 2005, when it was still Uganda Microfinance (MDI).

The provision of medical services started in 2019 when the founders realized that there were no specialized general surgery services in Mukono. There was also a need to extend pharmaceutical services to Mukono Municipality (located from Kampala along the Kampala Jinja highway) and neighboring districts.

Nabaw Pharmacy is providing uncommon drugs which are not common in hospitals. Currently, Nabaw is the official distributor of Movate® (Clobetasol) and Lemonvate® (Clobetasol), orangevate® (Clobetasol) from Esapharma Millian Italy whose Local Technical Representative is Byamaka Pharmaceuticals.

Nabaw is also one of the Ministry of Health’s authorized FIRST LINE BUYER of subsidized Anti-malarials in uganda.
